Hi, welcome to my auction for this rare demo acetate record.
Recorded at the famous IBC Studios in London
(also where the Bee Gees, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Status Quo, Clapton/Cream and even the Beatles recorded some of their early work in the 60s and 70s!)
It contains 12 completely unreleased tracks!
I bought this album a few years ago but have since decided to thin out my collection and raise some money!

It's a great album with some very catchy songs, but like the original seller I'm not sure of its origin, I have contacted one of the members of Tin Tin and sadly he has no recollection of recording the album, so who knows where this came from, all I know its there's NOTHING on the internet about it!
Tin Tin recorded two known albums at IBC Studios in the 1970s where this demo acetate was pressed, and whilst they worked closely with Maurice Gibb and the Bee Gees on those albums, I couldn't say for sure if they had anything to do with this unknown one, songwriting, production or otherwise.
Its a very pleasurable listen, it sounds similar to early Tin Tin stuff but not as psycodelic, similar also to Smokie, James Taylor, Graham Bonnet and mid seventies pop/folk/rock style music.
Make of it what you will, its surely a rare record, for 70s music fans, Tin Tin or Bee Gees fans, its a great obscurity to add to your collection!
This metal core acetate record is in extremely good condition, very tidy labels and the record looks likes its been seldom played.
It's house in a plain white sleeve.

THE GROUP CALLED TIN TIN WERE FROM AUSTRALIA THE TRIO CHARTED IN THE LATE 1960'S & RELEASED MANY SINGLES & 2 ALBUMS BETWEEN 1969 & 1972, THEIR BIGGEST SUCCESS WAS WITH THE SINGLE # TOAST & MARMALADE FOR TEA # THE BAND WERE FRIENDS WITH THE BEE GEES WHERE MAURICE BACKED ON MANY OF THEIR RECORDS, THEY WERE SIGNED UP BY POLYDOR RECORDS, AFTER THEIR 2ND ALBUM #ASTRAL TAXI# IT SEEMS THE LABEL DROPPED THE GROUP.

I HAVE DONE A LOT OF RESEARCH ON THIS ACETATE ALBUM & CANNOT FIND ANY INFORMATION AS TO IF THIS WAS ACTUALLY RELEASED OF NOT, ALL THE TRACKS SEEM TO BE UNRELEASED, I HAVE PLAYED THE ALBUM THROUGH & IT DOES SOUND LIKE THE RECORDINGS WERE FROM THE VERY EARLY 70'S, I WOULD THEN ASSUME THAT THIS WAS TO BE THEIR 3rd ALBUM BUT WAS CUT ON ACETATE ONLY & SHELVED.
LIKE ANY ACETATE ALBUM ON A FEW WOULD HAVE BEEN MADE,
IF YOU ARE A COLLECTOR OF BEE GEES OR POP MUSIC FROM AUSTRALIA THEN THIS IS A GREAT FIND FOR YOUR LIBRARY.
