Description

Tommy Vig "Just For The Record" - Private pressing (no label or release number). Extremely rare, hard to find 1971 LP from vibraphonist/composer Tommy Vig and his big band. Record in pristine NM condition, looks unplayed! This album was privately pressed in a run of only 500 copies and was given away by Tommy to friends and fans, never available commercially. This copy has a sticker on front: Happy Holidays 1972 with Love from the Vigs. Features Frank Rosolino, Bud Brisbois, Bob Cooper, Buddy Childers, Anthony Ortega, Dave Wells, Joe Porcaro, Tom Garvin, Ira Schulman, Bill Perkins and others. Titles: Autumn Leaves (w/Rosolino solo), A Blues (w/Rosolino solo), For Mia, Study IV, Suspense, Veled Vagyok Meg Gondolatban, and C Side (feat. Brisbois on lead tpt.).
