WHY PRIVATE AUCTION ?
I have decided to make my auctions private to protect bidders from false emails from people pretending to be me and offering second chance offers and the like. I have had numerous eBay users inform me that after an auction they have been approached by an unknown user pretending to be me and offering the same product as was sold. These emails are a scam. By hiding the user IDs no one but myself will know who has won or is bidding on any of my items and therefore my customers cannot be approached by fraudulent members.
