Description
I am selling my complete collection of The Beatles and Beatles-related records, albums, and novelties.
This lot is for a 12" LP 33 1/3 rpm vinyl record album titled "BAND ON THE RUN - JET" by PAUL McCARTNEY & WINGS, released in 1975,
NOTE: This issue has a deep blue jacket cover, on both sides. Not seen on any other version. Also unique is the golden brown colored record label.
I have not seen this version of this album before, nor can I find a similar one on any internet website. The closest I found is that perhaps this is a test pressing - but i really do not know.
See both the record jacket cover and the record label. Very unique.
The record company name is not shown on the record label - as I do not think that the printed name "HIGH STEREO" is the record company's name. There is a very low label number of "14" on the label. I do not see any information on the jacket cover - either front or back, regarding manufacturing date, place manufacture, country of origin, etc.
I do see an etched printing of "Mastered by Capitol" etched on the matrix run-off area of the record.
- The record is in good-to-very-good condition.
- The jacket cover is in good-to-very-good condition. There are no split seams, saw cuts, or puncture holes. Just overall light wear. The back side of the cover has printed song lyrics of the album.
A must have LP album for the collector of The Beatles, Paul McCartney, or Wings who want a complete collection or add an unusual item to your collection.
