After the introduction of the LP by Columbia Records in 1948, its competitors in the music industry began switching over to the new format. Decca reissued the eight song Merry Christmas 78 RPM album in the form of a 10-inch LP in 1949, catalogue Decca DL-5019 with its standard Decca label. This is one of the first issued 33 1/3 RPM LP. This is a rare find. 

This would make a wonderful addition for the Bing Crosby Collector or Christmas Collector of Nostalgic Christmas Memorabilia. It would also make a wonderful unique gift for that special someone. This is a piece of music history from days gone by. 

This is such a unique, historical piece.

“Pre-owned and in good condition for age, shows considerable wear, with some scratches and scuffs. This will need a proper cleaning and appears that it would play properly but has not been tested.  The Original jacket has some wear and tear and discoloration but overall good condition for age. Old white sticker on front of album that was not removed. Please preview all photographs as they are part a major part of the description.

This item is an Estate find, these have NOT been Cleaned or Tested. This is a vintage item and the item has been described to the best of our abilities.  We are not a record collector and have no expertise in grading records.
