Description
THE SOUND OF LEADERSHIP - SOUVENIR OF THE MIAMI MEETING JUNE, 1956. This eight record LIMITED EDITION set is in mint condition and appears to have never been play. Vinyl shines like brand new records. Labels are printed Not For Sale and are in flawless condition. Each are seperated by the original paper sheet and included is a paper sheet explaining why they are not packaged in sleeves. Although the box does show some age, it has no tears, rips, writting or any breakdown of the rigid sides and edges. The box opens right to left with a portion of the sealed edge which I am not sure that it was not just cut to open or whether it was to be cut and the entire top removed. Also included is the original booklet describing the progress from being the Victor Talking Company to the start of RCA. It defines that at this time they had produced 56 records records that sold a million copys and this set contains 32 of them. Never has this been a retail item and was only obtained by the employees who attended the meeting in 1956 in Miami. The very last song on the 8th record, side 16 is Elvis Presley's Heartbreak Hotel noting that he was a young 21 years with his first million seller.
