Description
Bill Haley of rock 'n' roll fame was lead guitar on both sides of this record. Before creating his own band (The Comets), he played (1946) for The Down Homers (AKA) The Downhomers run by Kenny Roberts. This may be Haley's first professional recording effort!!
This is a RARE 'The Picture Record by VOGUE of 'Boogie Woogie Yodel' (Solo by Kenny Roberts) with a very colorful cowboy campfire scene (and inset B&W photo of Kenny Roberts) and on the other side "Baby I Found Out About You' (Solo by Bob Mason) with a very colorful Cowboy romance scene (and inset B&W of the band. CAN you pick out Bill Haley ??
78 rpm 10" diameter. Excellent condition for it's age.
I rate the records's physical condition as a #4
The quatity of the illustrations on each side are beautifully vivdid.
Jacket is heavy paper with no printing.
