Sassy Suzy Presents Vinyl Records Funk and Soul
Artist: Vernon Garrett w/ The Soul Messengers Song(s): "We People In The Ghetto" b/w "You Blew My Mind" Label: Watts U.S.A.
 Catalog #: 500 Year: 1970 Format: Vinyl Record Duration: Single Size: 7" Speed: 45rpm Genre: Funk Sleeve: Generic Condition: VG+ (Writing On Label) Description: This is the original 1st release and 1st press of this funk monster. It was later released on KAPP. There is writing on the label of Side-A. Also, the portions of the labels that look as though there is paper loss are actually spots where portions of a record sleeve were stuck to the labels. It looks and feels like the extra paper will come off with some gentle work, but I did not want to risk paper loss on the label. I will leave that for you. The piece displays well with light marks to both sides and original gloss.

Condition Grading: We visually grade each record and its accompanying cover/sleeve under a strong light and assign a condition grade using the Goldmine standards with the addition of the grades: EX for those records that are definitely better than just VG+ but are not perfect enough to be considered NM; and SS for those records that are still sealed in its original factory shrink and unopened. I also do not use the grade Mint. If a piece appears to be mint I will assign a grade of NM, as the highest grade, because no piece is absolutely flawless and Mint.
