Description
1956 - KENNY CLARKE QUINTET "Jazzmen: Detroit"
You likely won't see this again soon, don't miss your chance now.
Plays like a dream and is a spectacular set, mesmerizing stuff.
We all grimace when the dreamiest solos appear in thin air..
How to describe the magic? Well.. an alliterative patter is likely all that would suit it best. Downy dunking in wonderland wool pervades the viscosity in any air commencing the playback surrounding this serenely, as well as surreptitiously slinkily clear, sparkling essence of recording panache plumbing the depths of your deep wallets to place this precious platter on your shelf. Seriously, though, it hardly gets any better, break out your evening smoking jacket and slippers for cozying up to this one, on the fur in front of the fireplace with a loved one, or conversely, pull out the sequins, top-hat, and cane to dance the night away - this dish is multi-purpose and ultimately satisfying as a punctual personification of the golden sounds, abounding.
I guess I could also say:
