We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

Long gone deluxe 10" 2nd pressing of ultra rare 1968 USA underground psych/garage by a trio ... 2 of the members made 2/3 of the famous ZZ TOP ... American Blues made two highly collected albums, this one is their best and is valued in the $400 - $500+ range, highly rated as one of the giants in the USA 60's private press garage scene Lp's....
One of the better known Texas bands of the late sixties were thee American Blues who were originally known as The Warlocks and also an important stepping stone for Dusty Hill and Frank Beard before they went on to join ZZ Top. Their first album was produced by Scotty McKay and recorded at Robin Hood Brian's studio in Tyler, Texas. Side one is predominantly great psychedelic rock and a 45 from it was issued the following year. Side two was in more of a heavy psych/rock style. It did well enough to attract the interest of EMI subsidiary UNI who signed the band. The result was Do Their Thing, which was basically a blues rock album with some psychedelic trappings.
HIghlights include the best version of "If I Were a Carpenter" that we eve heard, with it's psychedelic treatment, the acid laced fuzz fried "All I Saw Was You" and killer fuzzed-up garage burner "It's Gone" ...though the whole album is worthy of repeat listens and worth owning period.
