• The extremely rare LATIN CHICANO sweet soul doo-wop+northern soul 45 by PUBLIO CASILLAS (PUBLIO & THE VALIANTS) -- have only ever seen 2 copies of this 45!!

• Tracks are as follows:

• IMAGEN DE AMOR (beautiful goose-bumpy Latin vocal group harmony sweet soul doowop low rider rola with lyrics alternating between IMAGE OF LOVE English vocals and IMAGEN DE AMOR Spanish vocals -- this unique bilingual version is only found on this particular 45 pressing)

• I'VE FOUND ME A NEW LOVE (or FOUND ME A NEW LOVE) (superb Latin northern soul track with all vocals sung in English and some Spanish romantic "love letter" words spoken by PUBLIO to his love interest during the first verse as the song's English vocals play underneath -- this unique bilingual version is only found on this particular 45 pressing)

• 1989 regional independent release on SAS (SAS-237 -- SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS, US).

• May appeal to those into the following artists:

1. AUGIE MEYERS -- LORD AUGUST & THE VISION OF LIGHT
2. BLUES BAG LTD (e.g. I AM GONNA LOVE YOU + MY GIRL -- PLUMM RECORDS -- PU-5001 45)

3. CROWN ROYAL -- GEORGE RIVAS
4. DIMAS GARZA
5. DOUG SAHM -- SIR DOUGLAS QUINTET
6. RANDY GARIBAY -- RANDY & THE WEST SIDE SOUND

• VINYL:  The vinyl is visually VG (shiny wax but with a scattering of faint surface hairlines and such here and there, some more visible scuffings, and a small wax blister in the middle of the I'VE FOUND ME A NEW LOVE side which causes a few passing clicks) -- IMAGEN DE AMOR plays well but with a scattering of staticky ticks/clicks here and there -- I'VE FOUND ME A NEW LOVE plays well but with a scattering of staticky ticks/clicks here and there and few passing clicks in the middle of the song where the small wax blister is located).
• LABELS:  SEE PHOTOS (with wear/aging/pen writing on each side and some "fingerprint-type" smudges on the IMAGEN DE AMOR side).

• The following is an extended clip of IMAGE OF LOVE taken from the PUBLIO AND THE VALIANTS album entitled CAUGHT IN THE ACT (SUPER BEET RECORDS -- SBR-1003-LP -- 1989 -- with AUGIE MEYERS on keyboards) -- the music for the ALBUM track below appears to be the same as the 45 track available for sale; however, the vocals on the 45 track have been reworked and alternate between IMAGE OF LOVE English vocals and IMAGEN DE AMOR Spanish vocals -- the ALBUM clip is provided to get a feel for the music:
