This is a scarce ORIGINAL 1st pressing SKA record but is often confused with the latter Studio One UK 1967 release. Both albums have similar covers but very different track listings. This original 1964 release on the ND label was more of a compilation that featured the newly formed all star group, The Skatalites, but also featured tracks by others including The Gaylads, Lee Perry and Delroy Wilson.

Side Two:  Bridge View (Roland Alphonso); Rolling Down (Gaylads); Lee Oswald (Roland Alphonso); Heaven Declare (Maytals); Sca Ba (Tommy McCook); Sammy Dead (Delroy Wilson)

Vinyl is in great condition.  Still maintains a high gloss!  A near perfect play!  Some very light surface scuffs.  NO scratches!  Minimal popping.

Record grades a VG++ (used, non abused, light scratches, plays good,minimal surface noise, near MINT! )

There is a small indention on the very outer edge of the record that does not affect playing at all (as seen in the pictures).   Also, there are some initials written on both labels.  It was done in red ink on the red label, so it doesn't show up unless held at certain angles in the light.

  SKA has a great pulsing sound of drums, bass, rhythm guitar and lots of horns ~ that great SKA sound that would later influence reggae music!

Included is a FREE CD of this album so you can preserve the vinyl and still listen to this great album!    

The cover, picture wise, is in great shape.  Slight scuffing but nothing that detracts from the overall condition.  The bottom seam and a small section along the top seam had separated, but both have been repaired.  The spine has slight wear at the corners but all writing is legible and undamaged.  The pictures on the back are in near mint shape (please see the pictures for details).
