Description

ALADDIN 3170  THE SHA-WEEZ  "NO ONE TO LOVE ME"/"EARLY SUNDAY MORNING".  The record is a M- (NM) REPRO copy in RED PLASTIC ; labels are clean. This is one of the oldest boots and never turns up ; Val was sold out of this one in 1972 ; I got my first copy in an auction back in 1972 or '73. This was pressed by an infamous NYC dealer/collector in 1969. The SHA-WEEZ were a New Orleans R&B vocal group led by James "Sugar Boy" Crawford. There were four songs cut at this session ; the other two were unissued until an Imperial re-issue LP in 1970 ; those two unissued tracks were later put on another repro as Aladdin 3170-A which is still readily available.  At this session Sugar Boy had a sore throat ; so Big Boy Myles sang lead and Sugar Boy did the crying talk bridge.  The original 45 of this sells for over $3000.

ALWAYS WAIT FOR THE INVOICE BEFORE PAYING.

GRADING :  MINT (M) ; M- (NM) ; Vg++ ; Vg+ ; VG ; Vg- ; G+ ; G ; G- ETC. PLAY GRADE IS OFTEN ALSO STATED.  THE LABEL CONDITION IS NOT PART OF THE VISUAL GRADE ; LABEL DEFECTS ARE STATED.  I do use the M (Mint) grade but not very often.  My Vg++ is a record you will never have to upgrade unless there is a label issue.

FEEDBACK : I LEAVE POSITIVE FEEDBACK AFTER YOU THE BUYER HAVE LEFT POSITIVE FEEDBACK FOR ME .
