This precious treasure is from our family extended collection. Hope someone would appreciate and it’s head over a safe home, to value the sentiment behind as it’s been under our possession for almost 40 years.
This Rarity is a hard to get, collective treasure in such of beautiful shape!
The Signature Sound: The music remains powerful salsa dura (hard salsa), propelled by the signature two raw trombones, off-kilter piano lines, and intense, in-your-face percussion.
Band Line-up: The core nine-piece band was led by Julio Millan (1st trombone) and Tony Ortega (Piano), featuring Leo Rosado on vocals.
The Cover: The cover art is notable, featuring cutouts of the band members floating in the East River with the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge in the background—a symbolic and memorable image for the Nuyorican scene.
