Description

This is a rare item. Peacock 1628 The Tempo Toppers featuring "Little Richard". One side is "Always", other is "Rice, Red Beans and Turnip Greens". The name Don Robey is scratched into the wax--he was the founder of Peacock records in Houston, Texas. Labels would be excellent except for someone left their name impressed into the label, but not ink--just the impression--on "Always". Mainly just visible in the glare of the light. Similarly on the other side with some very light circular scuffs--again mostly visible in the glare. Would rate the record a strong VG+ as it has scuffs on the vinyl, but plays loud and clear with minimal surface noise. Keep watching me for more from my personal collection. Buyer pay postage.
