Description
This is a very limited special edition of the greatest single ever on blue vinyl. According to Record Collector magazine,QUEEN Bohemian Rhapsody (Legendary 1978 UK limited edition BLUE. VINYL 7 was specially commissioned by EMI in 1978 when the record company won the Queens award for export.Only 200 were pressed and numbered, and although this does not have a number on it, it is still extremely rare and a real collectors piece.I can only imagine that this was part of an overrun or the number was just missed off. Condition - not brilliant. New/mint copies are going for over £3,500.00. Its for this reason that the starting price is £200.00. However, I have had it played and there is some crackling on the sound, and you can see surface scratches on the disc. However, my experience of having coloured vinyl discs back in the old days is that the sound was always hopeless. I can remember taking back my copy of Sgt Pepper for that reason (although I wish I had kept it). PLEASE NOTE:- I am happy to post anywhere, but the £2.50 quoted is for UK only. If you are anywhere else then let me know where and I will come back to you with a postal cost. UPDATE:- SOMEONE HAS VERY KINDLY SENT ME THE FOLLOWING URL - http://www.queencollector.net/BlueBohRhap_uk.htm WHICH SEEMS TO PROVE THE RECORD IS NOT FAKE. I CAN CONFIRM THAT IT HAS THE WORD 'BLAIR' ON THE RUN-OUT GROOVE. PLEASE TAKE A LOOK, BUT BEAR IN MIND THAT THIS IS FOR THE RECORD ONLY AND DOES NOT INCLUDE THE COVER.
