NOT COMPLETE (1 LP MISSING)
BUT SEPARATE LPs ARE NOT IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND, IF NOT EASY.
THE BOX IS IN NICE CONDITION, ALTHOUGH A SO ANTIQUE BIG BOX WITH LOUD RECORDS SHOWS GENERALLY MUCH WEAR. NICE DE LUXE BOOKLET, EMBOSSED ORIGINAL SLEEVES.
AS IT IS, THIS 6 LP SET IS MOSTLY IN GOOD CONDITION AND REALLY ENJOYABLE, AND ONLY ONE LP HAS LOCAL SERIOUS DEFECTS.

BOX CONDITION: VG+ (clean and solid, has minor barely visible usual wear at corners and hinges, few spots of superficial rubbing on top edge, 3 splits at hinges on top and bottom (repectively 1 - 2 - 1,5 inches long, but only one real and obvious at first hinge on bottom, with at this place a small piece of superficial paper which has been re-stuck - the two others splits are only of superficial paper & barely noticeable ; the paper of the image of the front, bottom right corner, has folding marks - it has been re-stuck).

BOOKLET CONDITION: EX (only minor signs of handling)

INNER SLEEVES CONDITION: VG+ (usual handling signs, less or more foxing spots - our images shows the two cases -, 1 small brown stain ; all solid, with no split, only one has a short tear at opening, no lack)

RECORDS CONDITION : EXCEPT 2 SIDES, THE CONDITION IS MOSTLY VG+. THE WAX BACKGROUND IS MOSTLY EX, OFTEN BETTER AND A REAL PLEASURE, EXCEPT FEW TICKY MOMENTS FROM WAX QUALITY. ALL LOCAL NOISES ARE DESCRIBED BELOW, COMING FROM ACCIDENTS OR DUST, NOT FROM INTENSIVE PLAYING: THE RECORDS HAVE BEEN MOSTLY BARELY PLAYED, AS SHOWS THE OFTEN SILENT BACKGROUND.

PLEASE REMEMBER:
1) THIS IS A COMPLETE PLAYGRADING. DON'T BE AFRAID ! WE COULD, BUT DON'T WANT TO GRADE SUCH A BOX WITH ONLY A GLOBAL VISUAL GRADING, PLEASE CONSIDER THIS.
2) WE SPEAK OF TICKS ONLY WHEN IT'S VERY SOFT IN HIGH FREQUENCE RANGE, OF CRACKS WHEN IT'S IN MEDIUM OR LOWER FREQUENCES (CAN BE SOFT !).
3) THIS IS A STEREO PLAYGRADING OF VINTAGE VINYL: MONO EQUIPMENT WILL GIVE A BETTER LISTENING.

Globally shiny (as can be vintage Pathé vinyl which has eventually some blemishing spots/traces from factory) ; except on one side, the local accidents are not obvious and often barely visible : many described noises come from the Pathé wax quality. Each LP shows few spindle nails on labels near center hole, the DTX 193, feat. L. Laskine, (our image) shows more marks.

DTX 191: (A) random light noises but quiet. //// (B) begins with crackling background but the second half is VG+ ; 3 superficial marks give short series of ticks/light cracks.

DTX 192: (A) VG+ except rare light single cracks. //// (B) VG+ ; few superf. marks not sounding, occas. ticks only.

DTX 193: (A) VG++ except very few light cracks at begining, elsewhere rare ultra-light noises. //// (B) background is globally VG+ or better but beginning is a bit ticky, elsewhere few single light-to-average cracks.

DTX 194: (A) Parisian symphony: background is VG++ to EX with rare very light noises or ticks ; few tiny superf. marks at end of 3rd mvt = few soft noises. //// (B) "Petits riens": VG++ or better (very rare very light noises/ticks) ; on 2nd piece 1 superf. scratch not sounding.

DTX 195: (A) crackling before music and at beginning, the first half (soprano singing) has few light or average and 3 single loud cracks ; Pascal Quartet = VG+ //// (B) This side has some problems, but the wax background is EX or better. On Samson François: a spot of short very thin hairscratches = light-to-average cracks on 1 minute, 1 tiny accident = 20 average cracks on a soft moment. On Benedetti/Perlemuter the 2 first movements have only random light cracks and 2 loud ones ; the 3rd movement has an obvious mark (8x4 mm) like if rubbed on wood, still superficial, which gives 25 noises (15 very light, 5 light-to-average, 5 loud). No risk of jump ! Please note that the two sides are named "A" on the labels.

DTX 196: (A) background EX, very few occas. ticks or very light cracks, rare average ones ; on beginning of Jean Doyen one tiny accident gives 8 cracks including 2 average-to-loud ones. //// (B) some frying/ticks at begining, then few random single light cracks (some repeated ticks at the very end of Jeanne-Marie Darré).

DTX 197 : missing LP
