An original 1973 pressing of Isolation, self-titled lp
Super rare UK Prog Folk / Rock lp, privately pressed in very low numbers on the Riverside label.
Catalogue number HAS LP 2083, - presumably recorded at John Hassell studios in London.
This lp is both very rare and of high musical quality!
We can only find 3 other copies on the internet that have been previously sold, a truly scarce lp.
Grading:
The record is in EX to EX- condition. The record has a full sheen and has seen little use.
Visual Grade: EX-. Side 1 has a few light marks that don't affect play. Side 2 just 1 mark. These are not needle marks, more paper scuffs or finger-nail marks. The long mark on side 1 and the mark on side 2 have been photographed, please check the images.
Audio Grade: EX. Nice audio, no clicks, nice clear sound, occasional minor low background crackle in the quietest parts - this is very occasional and may be in the recording / pressing.
Hand stamped non-laminated sleeve is in VG to VG+ condition. No splits, rips or writing, has some general light handling / storage marks, one red smudge mark, a few light spotting marks.
It's worth noting that the 3 other copies that have made it to public sale have the hand stamped "ISOLATION" on the front and back of the cover in red ink. This copy for sale has the stamped title in dark blue ink.
There is an insert present with this copy. Insert grades VG+ to VG; some age toning and a small bend to 1 corner. There are some ink marks front and back of the insert, it's quite possible that the insert had these ink marks when it was made.
*******All records graded under a strong light to strict standards*******. I do not clean records, (I don't have an ultrasonic machine), if any of the discs need a clean this will be mentioned in the listing; I would advise all records to be pro cleaned to ensure the best possible playback.
