RELISTED WITH NO RESERVE! I have Collected Dead Vinyl for ever, at least it seems. I have been selling off my collection over the last year and have saved the very Rarest item I own for the last! In 1965/66, the Grateful Dead played back-up for the Jazz great Jon Hendricks on one 7", and this is it. It is so hard to find in itself, but this copy makes it the Rarest known! First of all, 90%+ of all copies I've see are Promo's. The promos are easy to find compared to copies that are not marked promo. But here's the big thing: THERE ARE SUPOSE TO BE 2 SONGS, EACH ON THEIR OWN SIDE: FIRE IN THE CITY, AND SONS AND DAUGHTERS. HOWEVER, THIS COPY STATES THAT EACH SIDE HAS THE SAME SONG: SONS AND DAUGHTERS. THIS IS VERY SIMPLY AN ERROR! AND, IS THE ONLY ONE THAT I KNOW OF IN EXISTENCE! The vinly is Near Mint, Simple. It may have never been played other than Once by myself. The labels are just Excellent, but does have the hole punch. I HAVE A COPY OF THE ORIGIONAL WITHOUT THE ERROR, WHICH IN ITS OWN RIGHT IS STILL QUITE POSSIBLY THE RAREST DEAD 7" OUT THERE EVEN COMPARED TO THE RARE SCORPIO LABEL 7".
