Peter & Gordon Open-End Interview. Sleeve VG+, Record M- with spotless labels.
This is by far the rarest P&G American release. For those unfamiliar with the format, the interview track has all the answers to the questions the DJ would ask, going by the script on one side of the sleeve.
How many were pressed? Judging by the rarity and number of radio stations at the time, I would guess no more than 500-600 copies. There were two Beatles interviews released in this fashion and they easily bring four figures, so that's a good guage on the rarity.
If you've ben collecting for the past few decades, you probably thought you completed your Peter & Gordon stack....but this one will be the crowning gem.
Sleeve has no splits, tears or writing, just light storage handling wear. And the record is brite'n'shiny and plays sweet. You will have very few opportunities to pick up one of these beauties in this condition.
