RASPUTINA -Transylvanian Concubine 7" ep

Rasputina's first official vinyl release!  Released on Oculus Records 1993.  This is an extremely rare find.

This is the Rarest of all Recordings by The Ladies Cello Society...

The Original 1993 Transylvanian Concubine 7" Record
One of a Very Small Number Pressed and Distributed -
Released by Filthy Bonnet/Oculus Records, No Catalog #

This was Rasputina's debut recording... while Melora was still playing regularly with Nirvana
and I'm pretty certain that it's the only studio recording to feature early third-chair Serena Jost
& Robert Rodrigues on percussion. Of course, Ms. Julia Kent was also present.

The recordings were produced by Kurt Ralske of Ultra Vivid Scene with whom Melora also played.

Oculus was apparently a small indie label/distro out of New Jersey.
However, also listed is an address, presumably Melora's at the time which has become notable in it's own right,
perhaps even famous/infamous in NYC art history: 247 Water Street, Brooklyn, NY / DUMBO

This is a different version of Transylvanian Concubine and a bit slower.
An altogether different recording than that found on Thanks for the Ether.

Present, as well, are the fabled "Vaulted Eel" and "Lesson #6"

1/2 fold thick paper sleeve designed by Melora with original blank inner sleeve & outer polysleeve.
