Vinyl NM, Glossy / Shiny. Pressed at Specialty Records Corporation (“SRC”) in Olyphant, Pennsylvania. I worked there for many years. ATLANTIC was one of “our own labels,” being under Warner Brothers / WEA Inc. Jacket NM, original inner-sleeve AND Original Promotional Insert, offering RATT on video cassette, and a poster offered. Your choice of VHS or BETAMAX LOL! A nice copy of this totally ROCKING VINYL RECORD, from my own Collection. Always this was my favorite RATT album. It’s their 2nd one from ‘85. Songs include “You’re In Love” (awesome! , one you seem to want to play when you meet a new girl ❤️- ‘You’re struck by lightning—you’re in LOVE / it’s not worth fighting—you’re in LOVE….’this one has had many hits on YouTube); “LAY IT DOWN” ! Again, think of your Girl haha this one really CRANKS UP!; “Got Me On the Line” begins with a ringing telephone—explain this one to the kids; “Closer To My Heart” side one last track. A little slower tune with a “Rock Ballad” vibe; etc.

OKAY NOW TO THE “REAL-IMPORTANT “ stuff lol…The Blonde Babe on the Cover is Marianne Gravette. Playboy Playmate from October 1982, 1983 Playboy Playmate of the Year. She was also in Playboy again in April 1994. I’ve seen her in those 80’s Playboys, check her out sometime. Totally hot and gorgeous. She has more curly hair in Playboy (but I love the straight hair!). Well, I mentioned the tune, “Lay It Down” above. This girl, Playboy Playmate Marianne Gravette, is in the video for that song. Stephen Pearcy had “noticed” her in Playboy and then was able to get her for the jacket cover model, and the video. I don’t think he managed to get her to go out with him. Well you can’t have everything! RATT’s Out Of the Cellar album has Tawny Kitaen in that cover. Tawny is also the “legs” on the RATT EP with fishnet stockings and white rats crawling on her legs. YOU HAVE TO LOVE THE RATT COVERS! THAT WAS A BIG THING FOR US, the “RATT Girl” on the cover LOL. Great videos too. So a great RATT Vinyl Album that really rocks on the turntable. Steve Pearcy, Robbin Crosby, Juan Croucier and the rest of the boys. RATT was always one of my favorite groups. Back in 1984 they actually played in my area, in a local a amusement park. The Out Of the Cellar tour / days, right in the beginning. That was almost unheard-of then, to get a top act like RATT in my area. In fact, though that amusement park is long closed and we have much newer bigger and better venues, rarely yet have we had that RATT show out-done / “outshined.” Of course, as many of you know, RATT Bass Player Juan Croucier , one of the greats, played with Dokken about 4 years. He’s back-up vocals on You’re In Love (mentioned above), and he actually wrote this song mostly, with Pearcy also contributing. Juan Croucier is a Cuban-American (born on Cuba.). His backup vocals with RATT are a famous trademark. He is considered the “Second Voice” of RATT. Juan also played with Randy Rhoads a little while, before Randy left Quiet Riot to join OZZY’s Group. Juan played with several other bands also in his early days.

I mentioned that this vinyl was pressed at Specialty Records. Well, the Original Mastering for the record was done by the Expert Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound Studios in New York. Notice the Matrix Number info / details in the above “Item Specifics” section of this Listing. You’ll see “STERLING “TJ” (this is Ted Jensen) and also “SRC” for the Pressing Plant Specialty Records. You “Audiophile Types” out there will be quite pleased with this record.
