Description
TITLE/ARTIST: This rare and super hard to find EP release from 1956 (or so) -- on the original, green colored, Capitol Label, is in the equally as rare, STEREO format -- and is at least a partial soundtrack from one of sexy/superstar, Jayne Mansfield's best motion pictures. The movie also stars Tom Ewell, Julie London, and even Ray Anthony himself. Several RnR artists also make appearances in the movie - such as Fats Domino, Gene Vincent, Johnny Olenn, Eddie Cochran, Little Richard, and more. The EP is entitled "The Girl Can't Help It", and features a really neat front side cover photo and some pretty good music (see song titles in the pics above). The EP is just one of many nicely conditioned EPs/45's I'll be listing in the coming days/weeks ahead and nearly all are both collectible and in great shape. In my opinion, the condition of both the vinyl and the jacket here are very, very good, but please view the pics below, read about the EP's condition, and judge for yourself. LABEL INFO: It is on the original, green colored, early Capitol Label, EAP 1-823, in stereo, and in my opinion, is in absolutely beautiful shape. I don't see any spindle marks around the center circle, which certainly indicates very little play -- if any at all. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is extremely shiny, clean and nice with nothing seriously negative to report. To me, except for a few super light surface lines, it looks virtually unplayed and about as nice as the day it was 1st purchased. JACKET INFO: Likewise, the jacket is also super clean and nice with no real flaws or issues either! But, please view the pictures below and judge everything for yourself. INTERESTING FACTS: In my opinion this entire package is really, really nice! You just don't see these '50's-60's EPs out there - especially not in this kind of shape - so please have at it. In addition, I have listed---and will continue to do so---many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my personal collection, and there are 100's of more records to come yet -- of all genre's.
