What you get here is the classic Ray Charles album, one of the most outstanding in his entire output, and the one which amply demonstrates his voice range and style. This is the very last of the classic albums Charles would record for Atlantic - much to Ahmet Ertegun's chagrin, Brother Ray would switch to ABC-Paramount later that same year.  Neither Atlantic, nor Ray Charles’ career would ever be the same again. Finding a still sealed original copy?!?! Forget it – not even a HOPE!!! This may be the last one you will ever see.

(b)          The record is pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from a digital recording!

(c)           The record is believed to come in the original stock inner sleeve.

(d)          Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!

·       COVER (THIS IS THE ORIGINAL, LAMINATED, GLOSSY COVER):

COVER IS STRONG NEAR MINT, STILL SEALED AND COVERED IN ITS ORIGINAL ►SHRINK WRAP    [A SMALL PIECE OF SHRINK WRAP IS MISSING]

The following flaws or imperfections are noted on the cover:

-         Cover shows JUST A HINT of yellowing on both sides, apparently from aging (nothing significant)

-         Cover has JUST A HINT of ring wear (nothing significant); (VISIBLE ON BACK SIDE ONLY); On the scale from 1 to 10 (1 being the least, and  10 being the most severe), we assess the severity of ring wear as 1.

-         Cover has a light "wrinkle" (crease)  in one of the corners.

NO OTHER IMPERFECTIONS ON THE COVER:

-        No split seams

-        No cut-out (drill) holes.

-        No cut-out corners

-        No saw-marks or indents

-        No dirt/dust rubbing stains (friction marks caused by rubbing against other covers)
