Description
For auction is RAY DRAPER's "A Tuba Jazz," on Jubilee 1090, MONO, DG, 1959. Promo Edition. With John Coltrane, others.
SOUND: VG+
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. There is some soft, routine surface noise underneath. Very minor, not interfering in any way whatever. That's it! Otherwise sounding awesome! Really an outstanding and thoroughly enjoyable playback, start to finish!
VINYL: VG+/NM
Visually, the vinyl is beautiful! Very clean and glossy, with a few very faint and superficial smudges or scuffs. Overall very nice. The labels are white, deep-grooved "promo" edition Jubilee. In very nice condition, however they have been marked with radio call-letters.
JACKET: VG+
The jacket, like the labels, has been marked up by some long-ago DJ. Otherwise, in very nice condition, with solid spines and good corners. Clean, with only minor, routine shelf wear either side.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
