Description

For Auction, A Nice Copy Of the Very Rare 78 by Hank Ballard & The Midnighters. The record is in VG+/E condition. The cuts are The Twist, and Teardrops on Your Letter. This is an extremely rare 78, issued in 1960, when 78's were pressed in limited quantities. This is the original Twist, done in 1960 by Hank Ballard, before it was covered by Chubby Checker in 1961. The Twist side has some signs of being played on a Juke Box, but still delivers decent sound. The pressing is excellent, and is light in weight, and probably contains vinyl, and so it can tolerate the plays on a Juke Box. This is another record that has been sitting on my shelf for many years, and now it is time to pass it on. I am well experienced with 78's, and will ship this record in a 12 x 6 box, loaded with packing peanuts, so it will get to you safely. Please note, this is a 3 day auction, closing Sunday night. Please check my listings for more great Blues LP's, 78's.
