R&B Mod THE ALAN BOWN SET Gonna Fix You Good (Every time your'e Pye Bad) B/side I Really, Really Care 1967 EX. Condition is " Excellent plus". Rare.
Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For Letter.
Here we have a great British Band of the 60's and 70's who's music evolved from jazz, blues, RnB through to soul and psychedelia.
They achieved limited chart success, however they played a roll in developing the careers of numerous musicians including ; Robert Palmer (Vinegar joe) John Helliwell ( Supertramp) Mel Collins (King Crimson, Alan Parsons project) Jess Roden (Shakedown sound,The Raiders)
and Dougie Thomson (Supertramp)
Interesting dittie, they played at the Star-Club in Hamburg at the same time as the Beatles.
This track was recorded in November 1967
and recorded the soundtrack for the French Film "Jeu de Massacre"
They also recorded for the BBC's programme "Rhythm and Blues" in 66 and 67. In 68 They performed on Top of The Pops, and BBC''s "Disco 2" which incidentally became the Old Grey Whistle Test.
The record itself is in Excellent + clean condition, not a single visible scratch, therefore nearly mint

I checked ebay and there appears to be only one other copy listed, so it does appear to be very rare?
Comes from a pet and smoke free home.
