Description

Full-length LP from Big Mama Thornton titled "The Way It Is" released by Mercury (SR-61249) in 1970. Big Mama Thornton gave birth to rock n' roll with her electrifying version of "Hound Dog" in 1952 and delivered the goods on this energized live recording from an L.A. rock club in 1969. Old school gritty R&B at its best!

Labels are in NEAR MINT condition. Vinyl record is in EXCELLENT/MINT- condition with nice luster and some light sleeve stains. Plays with some light, sporadic surface tics...sounds great! Cover is in EXCELLENT condition with some wear at corners, some edgewear and some surface wear from storage.
