Description
PAT SUZUKI -
Pat Suzuki’s Broadway ’59
(twelve selections - see the photo of the back of the box for details)
Pat Suzuki
With George Siravo and His Orchestra
RCA EPS-247
2-Track Stereo for "In-Line" heads
7 1/2 ips; 7-inch reel; notes on the back of the box
Please note: for proper balances on playback, all 2-track tapes must be played on a 2-track machine. Playback on a 4-track machine will not give even weight to the channels and may not be satisfactory.
In 1959, this album was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Female Pop Vocal Performance category.
One of the very last of the RCA 2-track issues. The box shows copyright date of 1959, but the first reference I can find for this tape is in RCA's tape catalog from February of 1960. It was last listed in RCA's February 1961 catalog, after which it disappeared from all subsequent RCA tape catalogs (along with all the rest of the 2-tracks), so it was available only for a very short time - scarce!
The tape and its box are in excellent condition.
