Description

RCA LM 2074 original mono (no stereo of this).  Earliest issue with plum label disc.  Jascha Heifetz, violin, plays a recital including Castelnuovo-Tedesco's "the Lark" with Emanuel Bay, piano, the Faure Sonata op.13 with Brooks Smith, piano, and the Vitali Chaconne with Richard Elsasser, organ.

All fine performances with good sound, but the showstopper on this disc is the Vitali Chaconne.  It is a vibrant performance and the sound will astound you with its presence and dynamic liveliness.  A disc not to be missed.

Disc NM-, with just a few barely visible sleeve marks.  No spindle wear.  Looks to have been played rarely if at all.  Plays with fantastic sound and some occaional very light surface noise, probably better with a mono cartridge, which I do not have.  Jacket has partial split in top seam, some genereal wear.

Thanks for looking. Please contact me if you have any questions. Questions asked within 12 hours of auction close may not get answered, but I will try to do so. Returns accepted, return shipping not included.

Shipping in the US by Media Mail $4, Priority $7. International rates listed below. Shipping costs for multiple purchases will be combined whenever possible (78s cannot be combined with Lps). I do not overcharge for shipping, or charge a handling/packing fee. You pay the postage only. If postage turns out to be less than what you paid, I will refund the difference.

Sorry, but I will not ship to Italy.  I get nothing but problems with non-paying bidders and shipping problems.
