Description
Offered for auction is a yellow label pressing of RCA LSC 2150 Lt.Kije by Prokofiev. LP is labeled "For Experimental Use Only" and has 2 different masterings of LSC 2150 side one. The first is J2RY-1987 19S A1, I, The second is J2RY-1987 001 A1 I. The 19S production mastering is generally accepted as the best sounding by Audiophiles. The 001 is presumed to be the experimental mastering. There is no information that we could find identifying purpose or reason for being of this LP. LP has rubs from years of storage in a plain paper sleeve but plays with minimal noise, graded EX. One of a kind or at least one of a few. LP will be shipped in polypropylene inner, the plain paper inner will be included although there is no information on it. Photos provided of one label only as they are the same. One can only tell which mastering is playing by checking pressing codes in runout grooves.
