Description

RCA LSC 2241 TCHAIKOVSKY 1812 Overture, Mendelssohn Fingal’s Cave, Liszt Mephisto Waltz, Brahms Tragic Overture, Reiner, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, (1958) 1s/1s, A1/A1 (I): This is NOT a reissue – it is the original 50+ year old 1s/1s shaded dog pressing. It is thought to be the rarest of all the RCA living stereo LPs, and the sound and ambiance are spectacular.  It has a very wide and deep sound-stage with huge dynamics.  This is my own personal copy, and the vinyl surfaces are clean, glossy and quiet with no scuff marks, pops, clicks or skips. It is essentially a perfect copy and plays beautifully.  The vinyl grading is M- and the labels are very clean with no spindle marks. The jacket is clean and grading is M- .  In summary, this is beautiful copy of this very rare golden age recording. Feel free to return for full refund if not completely satisfied. Shipping is free anywhere in the continental US.  Outside of the US, buyer pays shipping through eBay's international shipping program.
