Description

RCA LSC 2376, Stravinsky, Petrouchka, Pierre Monteux, Boston Symphony Orchestra (1960) 1s/4s (I) Indianapolis pressing. This is NOT a reissue – it is the original 50+ year old 1s/4s pressing including the Monteux insert (see photos).  This copy effectively perfect -  I can find nothing wrong with it.  It is absolutely dead quiet and plays perfectly.  The sound is spectacular, with a wide and deep stage and pinpoint imaging.  The vinyl surfaces are clean, glossy and EXCEPTIONALLY quiet with NO pops, clicks, tics, or skips. There are NO pressing bubbles.  The vinyl looks and plays as new.  There are NO scuff marks on either side, and the labels are clean with NO wear or spindle marks (see photos). The jacket is also very clean with no seam splits or corner scuffs and grades NM (see photos).  The inner sleeve grades NM as well.  In summary, this is an effectively perfect copy of this wonderful golden-age recording.  Feel free to return for a full refund if not completely satisfied. Shipping is free anywhere in the continental US.  Outside of the US, buyer pays shipping through eBay's international shipping program.
