Description
This is another sale from a my collection of classical records, which includes early stereo rarities on Decca, Columbia, HMV and RCA.
UK stereo pressing (Recorded First Published 1959) of RCA Red Seal SB-2041 of The French Touch (Dukas - Sorcerer's Apprentice; Saint-Saens - Omphale's Spinning Wheel; Ravel - Mother Goose Suite), by the Boston Symphony Orchestra conducted by Charles Munch on red/silver spot grooved label. Sleeve is in really nice condition, no damage and laminate is fine (note the price of the record has been faintly written on the flip back, top left hand corner, in blue biro, however it has faded significantly). Record and inner sleeve are both in really nice condition too, visually near mint. It plays on my Linn Sondek virtually perfectly, no skips, jumps or repeated clicks, just little crackles and occasional pop in places. Please note that I have not tried cleaning this record with a vinyl cleaning solution which may remove the crackles.
Note that record will be posted in a cardboard record mailer. Sleeve will be in a plastic sleeve, separate from the record and inner sleeve. Record and inner sleeve will be in a card sleeve.
