RCA Victor 39003 Paul Whiteman Gershwin Let ’Em Eat Cake 1933 Picture Disc
Original 1933 RCA Victor 39003 12-inch 78 RPM picture disc featuring Paul Whiteman in tabloid versions of Irving Berlin’s “As Thousands Cheer” and George & Ira Gershwin’s “Let ’Em Eat Cake.” Illustrated sides feature performers and complete program listings, including Ramona, Jack Fulton, Bob Lawrence and the Rhythm Boys.
The disc lies flat and the laminated illustrated layers remain firmly attached. No chips, cracks, edge cracking, bubbling or delamination. Surface has light scratches/scuffs and age-related handling wear consistent with an original 1930s record.
Playback is untested. Record only; original sleeve is not included. A distinctive early RCA Victor picture-disc release with catalog number 39003 clearly printed on both sides.
