Description
This is a rare 1962 Stereo vinyl LP album by legendary country artist George Jones entitled " George Jones Sings Bob Wills " (UAS 6221). This exceptional record includes twelve (12) famed Bob Wills (either wrote or recorded) including such all-time favorites as "Faded Love", "Take Me Back to Tulsa" and "San Antonio Rose". Per the back cover liner notes George was considered the number one recording artist in the country in 1962. This LP is listed in the 2009 Goldmine Album Price Guide at $50 for one in overall Near Mint (NM) condition. We consider this LP to be in overall COLLECTOR CONDITION (see specific vinyl and jacket condition ratings below).
VINYL CONDITION: Very shiny with only the slightest sign of past use. It plays through flawlessly producing a solid stereo sound. We rare this vinyl as Near Mint (NM) using Goldmine guidelines. It comes with the original generic inner sleeve.
JACKET CONDITION: Clean on front and back with just a hint of corner softening. No seam splits and fully legible side seam. This cover would be awesome to feral for one so inclined. We rate this jacket condition to be a strong Excellent (EX) under Goldmine guidelines. It comes with a new poly slip-on outer sleeve to protect this 55 year-old gem for future generations to enjoy!
The vinyl within the inner sleeve will be separated from jacket during shipment to help guard against seam damage to the outer jacket.
