FOUR of THE MOST VALUABLE SINGLES RECORDED on the SUN RECORD LABEL by ELVIS PRESLEY

What a playlist! And these records are in excellent VINTAGE condition. While I hesitate to qualify myself as an aficionado when it comes to vinyl, my boyfriend, a musician, has given these four singles his seal of approval.

An estate find, I've left them AS IS and have not played them in order to ensure they remain as intact as possible.

Yes, there are A FEW scratches and some where here and there, but overall, these four 45s are in great shape and far from 'salvaged'.

The original owner was likely a 'fan' and not a collector so the records were likely played and enjoyed over the years (as they should be!).

I'm happy to answer questions and send more pics, as needed. However, please realize I'm somewhat limited as to the finer points of record collecting, so the pictures (and there are more) are your best source of information.

In 1951 Eddy Arnold recorded a song titled “I Want to Play House with You” [3][33] [34] by Cy Coben. [4] This song has been misidentified as the same song. It is not.[35]

That's All Right
Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup. Original: Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup (1947, RCA Victor). Crudup's original title is: "That's All Right (Mama)"; on the Sun label, and many later releases, '(Mama)' is omitted: "That's All Right".
Recorded: July 5, 1954 (session 1)
Elvis' recording of "That's All Right (Mama)" can be considered to be near the beginning of rock and roll, though the first rock and roll records predate it.

Ten songs, making five singles, were originally released on the Sun label. These records (in both 45 RPM and 78 RPM formats) are among the most valuable of Elvis' output, fetching four figures in excellent condition:
