Description
RED HOUSE PAINTERS 'OCEAN BEACH' 2x10" LP (1995 4AD (UK); dad 5005). Original UK press in beautiful condition. No reserve!
COVER = M (Kept in plastic, protective sleeve)
INNER SLEEVES = M- (Virtually spotless, no dents or splits around the edges and very, very slight record indentation on one sleeve - hardly noticeable)
RECORD = M- (Opened, played one song only once. Has been sealed and stored away ever since)
I dare you to find this record in better condition elsewhere!
I bought this brand new years ago, hence I am the original owner. This is a very rare record, and has been taken care of as such. I am a huge fan of Red House Painters, but I have hit financially hard times, and it breaks my heart to have to let this go, but I must. I'd like to see this go to another faithful fan who could enjoy it as much as I've had as part of my collection. Like I mentioned before, I have only played one song once - Long Distance Runaround - by the band Yes, which does *not* appear on the CD version of Ocean Beach. But, it does make an appearance on RHP's next album, Songs For A Blue Guitar, in a different version. So, for you completists out there, that alone makes this record a must-have!
***NOTE: The photos of the item are not of the actual record I'm selling. I borrowed them from other auctions. Reason being is that I did not want to remove the records from the cover or the inner sleeves to take photos of them and risk damaging them in any way. I wanted them to stay as perfect as they are now. I know what it's like to receive something that is not at all as it was described by the seller, so, I didn't want to be one of "those guys."
