Description

This is part of a collection of acetates and 78's I bought from a person who did a clean out of Johnny Pate's house in Chicago Heights after he moved to Las Vegas a few years ago. This acetate is a recording of the Red Saunders Orch. performing Morroccan Paradise composed and arranged by John W Pate and Stella By Star Light arranged by Johnnie Pate with Sonny Cohn on trumpet and John Avant on trombone. This was probably recorded at the Club De Lisa in 1950. A couple other acetates that I had were also recorded at the Club De Lisa. As far as I know there are no commercial recordings of these tunes by Red Saunders Orch,
