Description
- from my private stock -
Columbia 871-D
Fred Rich and his Hotel Astor Orchestra
Crazy Words - Crazy Tune recorded 1/20/27
vocal: Johnny Marvin
High-High-High Up
in the Hills recorded 1/20/27
vocal: Johnny Marvin
condition: E- or better/E- or better
(graded using 2.5ETS)
Both sides have a smidgen of surface noise that keep them from grading as E.
Some beginnings of lam cracks on both sides that do not affect play.
You can see them holding the record at an angle to the light. I couldn't get them to show in the photos.
Personnel: Hymie Farberman, Jimmy Dorsey, Leo McConville, Jimmy Johnston...
All records purchased from me are cleaned
with the VPI professional Record Washing System before they are graded.
IF YOU WISH TO HEAR FULL SAMPLE SIDES, EMAIL ME AND I WILL SUPPLY MPEG3 FILES OFF THE TURNTABLE (A REK-O-CUT RESTORATION DECK WITH A STANTON 500-V3 CARTRIDGE, WITH A .00325 INCH ELLIPTICAL-TRUNCATED STYLUS WITH PROPER PRESSURE AND NO EQ). THEN YOU CAN BE THE JUDGE!
Domestic Shipping Cost Policy:
EBAY will only allow $4.00 shipping costs but, as you know, 78rpms weigh a lot. THEREFORE:
One and/or two records will remain $4.00 shipping cost. Each additional record will add .50 to the $4.00 base shipping costs
when you win three or more records in any one auction
International Shipping Cost Policy:
International Shipping costs are via First Class Mail. Please allow us to bill you for your purchase in order to try to save you money.
We prefer to double box any overseas shipment, therefore, there is a $5.00 handling charge on all international shipments.
Please allow us to invoice you before paying
so that we can save you shipping costs.
Any record agreed to be held, must be paid for within 72 hours, or they will be put up for second chance offers.
Thank you for your kind understanding -- it is greatly appreciated.
Records are stiffened with cardboard between each record,
wrapped in large bubble wrap and foam peanuts if necessary (we do NOT use newspaper) and BOXED.
Your bid denotes that you agree to our shipping policy.
Thank you for looking and, hopefully, bidding
