Description

I have for auction a collection of 4 track reel to reel tapes. I do not own a reel to reel 4 track so I was unable to test them. I am a audio engineer and I did a visible inspection of the tapes and I found no flaking or glitter in the boxes. Indicating that exposure to air was limited while in storage.  It looks like they have been stored tails out, some are missing leader tape. They were kept in a cool garage. There are some extra items  which are free with the package. If you would like to view all titles and review each tape photo please email me and I will send you the file. 16 titles in all from the 1960's including some first album recordings. 4 Track recording in the day was simply done as a run off from the mix usually from a 24/16/8X4X2 Studio board. I would say they are in good shape and the boxes show age and some wear.
