Regeneration LP (Strata East SES 19765) 1976 Gatefold

Huge band, tons of interesting ethnic percussion, one of the better Strata East lps IMHO, featuring:

Stanley Cowell / Ed Blackwell / John Stubblefield / Glenda Barnes / Bill Higgins / Nadi Quamar / Jerry Venable / Jimmy Heath / Aleke Kanonu / Psyche Wanzandae / Bill Lee / Marion Brown

Record/Sleeve : VG++/VG++ : Record looks great w/a couple of surface scuffs that play fine, cover has promo stamp on front and a bit of sticker residue, stamp on both labels. Though this copy is ex-radio station, it doesn't appear to have gotten much play, and exhibits minimal shelf wear considering.

Grading:

Mint: New or sealed (if not sealed then I opened it myself...)
NM: Played just a few times, like new.
Ex or Excellent: A record that has been played a handful of times and has been very well taken care of. No audible scratches to speak of, maybe a pop or two.
VG+ or VG++: A very decent used record, a few pops and/or some very light scratches but very acceptable.
VG: A record that has scratches, pops and is starting to show some serious wear.
Good etc.: Many scratches, writing on cover, a useable but rough record.  Poor: unplayable or nearly so, filler copy - I would only sell a very rare record in this condition.
