Description

This is an LP by The Blues Busters "The Best Of The Blues Busters" on DOCTOR BIRD DLM 5008. It is a 1960's Original, and the disc is in remarkably clean condition.

The sleeve is in somewhat less lovely condition, but is still very nice, with no sticky tape or writing.. just slightly battered around the open edge. It is the cleanest copy I have ever seen of this frighteningly rare record.

Confusingly, the sleeve front declares the label to be "Pyramid" but the rear sleeve lists the correct label and number. Things like that used to happen in the 60's.

The tracks are a mix of Ska, Calypso and a bunch of Sam-and-Dave style R&B.

It plays VERY WELL and is a little Bobby Dazzler.

This record, when it turns up at all, usually appears in condition as rough as a bears bottom. This is an unusually clean copy, which should completely explain the fairly hefty starting price on this auction.

Please don't bid if you have no intention of buying.

NO BIDS ACCEPTED FROM BUYERS WITH SUSPICIOUSLY SMALL NUMBERS OF TRANSACTIONS, or POOR FEEDBACK.

Using "Record Collector" magazine's guide, I would conservatively rate this disc as in EXCELLENT condition. The sleeve (see photo) isn't as lovely but is still remarkably good.
The record in the photograph is the actual record you will get, securely posted in a stiffened recycled envelope.

If you buy any other records off me, I'll do a deal on postage to save you a few bob.

I AM NOT A DEALER, I AM ONLY AN OLD BLOKE EMPTYING THE SPARE ROOM.
PAYPAL only Please.
NO OVERSEAS bidders please.
And NO OVERSEAS bidders using UK addresses please.
This is because I like my buyers to be happy bunnies. If there is a problem, I like to sort it out personally.
I can't do this if you're thousands of miles away.
Thanks for looking!
