R.E.M.: "Radio Free Europe" ----------------- Autographed 7" Record I.R.S. Records Usa 1983 Signed By Peter Buck, Mike Mills (No Longer With The Band), Let's Active's Mitch Easter, And The Front Side Was Drawn On But Not Signed By Michael Stipe
A-Side Of Record Is VG++, B-Side Is Only Fair (Scuff MarKs) Cover Is Very Good, Just Some Light Wear
My sister had this record sleeve autographed in 1983 when Rem did an "in-store signing" at Strawberrys Records in Cambridge Massachusetts where she was store manager. The band signed some items for her after hearing that i was playing the Rem single on a local college radio show, and that the station's Music Director/Manager was their friend and future video producer/collaborator Jim Mckay. The "J.M. At 8" on the front sleeve was written by Michael Stipe, it refers to the drawing on the sleeve as "Jim McKay at 8 years old". Mitch Easter and his band Let's Active was also at the record store signing.
