R.E.M. : Murmur A2 / B3 Original UK Press 1983
This early UK pressing plays with superb audio on both sides with no interference at all. As always I have played every track in full and I can confirm the sonic quality is exceptional. The clarity, depth and warmth of the audio is second to none and I cannot emphasise enough how well it plays! The vinyl is visually in superb condition also and clearly has not been played very much.
The cover is in excellent condition with only minimal wear on the spine and the original inner is also in great shape.

Visual description
The vinyl is in superb condition and still has a lovely glossy sheen with no marks or scratches. All I can see under a bright light are a small number of very faint hairlines. The run out grooves are very clean as are the I.R.S labels which have only a couple of small faint spindle traces on the S1 label and just a little more on S2.
Play grading
'Radio Free Europe' plays perfectly with no intrusion. Mint
'Pilgrimage' just a hint of barely audible static on the intro otherwise 'as new'. Mint-
'Laughing' has no background from start to finish and again grades as Mint
'Talk About The Passion' plays with sublime clarity throughout. Not even a dust tick. Mint
'Moral Kiosk' has no background from start to finish and again grades as Mint
'Perfect Circle' plays perfectly :-) the clarity is stunning throughout. Mint
-------------------------------------------------------------------
'Catapult' plays with stunning clarity and depth with no background at all. Mint
'Sitting Still' is of the same exact standard. Mint
'9 - 9' has just two very quiet statics on the intro. Mint-
'Shaking Through' is stunning through every section. No interference. Mint
'We Walk' plays with faultless audio, not one dust tick etc. Mint
'West Of The Fields' is of the same high end standard. Mint
The Cover & Inner Sleeve
The glossy cover is in superb condition. The top edge has only a couple of tiny rubs and the bottom edge is perfect. The spine has a little indented here and there and some light rubbing on one edge also near the top. The corners are very clean with barely any wear and the opening edge is pristine. The front cover is so clean and the back cover has only a couple of minor creases in the lower left corner. The 'Important Notice' inner is in superb shape with no side splits, no creasing and only very minimal fading around the edges.

Postage & Packaging
I will only send items items worldwide via tracked shipping. This provides 'peace of mind' in case of loss or damage. The shipping costs are shown below and combined shipping is always offered. Any over-payment will always be refunded.
The Royal Mail only insure up to a value of £250 so if an item sells for more it may be wise to use a courier service (e.g. Parcelforce or DPD). An extra insurance premium will be required but I will not know the exact amount until the final sale price is known. Because of this I will sometimes have to estimate the cost and this will be shown in the listing. Please wait for the invoice before making payment and if you have any questions please feel free to ask. Many thanks.
All vinyls are packaged in strong over-sized custom made mailers with plenty of extra cardboard protection. They are placed inside separate poly-lined inners outside the cover so as to avoid seam splits in transit and then placed inside a PVC sleeve to provide even more protection. I pride myself on my high quality packaging as my feed confirms and if any customer has any specific requirements I am more than happy to help.
The mailers I use cost £1.00 each and I will use anything between 3-5 cardboard stiffeners which cost approx £0.18 each. There is also the cost of the poly-lined inner and PVC sleeve to consider, it all adds up! Not forgetting that eBay take 10% of the shipping fee also!!
