This is Mobile Fidelity's 1995 issue of MURMUR by R.E.M., the band's first full-length album originally released in 1983 by I.R.S. Records. It's an audiophile pressing on 200 grams of virgin vinyl (absolutely no re-grind nor spill-over used anywhere in the process) featuring sound taken directly from the first-generation stereo masters and cut on an all-tube cutting system. Of the limited edition of 5000, this is # 111, gold stamped on back of the album cover so you can be certain there's no deception! The LP, jacket and all inserts are MINT; comes in the original poly bag, a heavy-duty, perforated wrap -- not a "shrink-wrap". No heat came near the vinyl during the sealing process. In addition, we have packaged the LP in separate heavy-duty jacket for protection during travel and for your long-term storage needs at home. The vinyl is enclosed in a top-of-the-line Japanese anti-static sleeve. We use only 6-mil poly bags and heavy box set bags with flap. Be certain the LP, jacket and all contents are fanatically protected. We believe you won't find a lower number offered anywhere online. Ridiculous opening bid with NO RESERVE. Good luck bidders!
