R.E.M. Reckoning - Original 1984 12" Vinyl LP I.R.S. Records, Catalog SP-70044
I purchased the record second hand and have carefully played it just a few times on high quality equipment, and it played clean to my ears. The shop graded the vinyl Mint and the cover Excellent. I'm not an experienced record grader but would be more conservative and grade the vinyl VG+ (Looks Excellent except for a few small spindle marks) and the sleeve VG+ (three 1/2" creases near spine, a 3/4" ding to top left corner, and other small corner dings). Original inner sleeve has several finger dents and a 1" crease.

I take pride in my packing and all shipments are securely protected. I follow the packing standards favored by most record sellers: Record will be placed in a new paper sleeve and removed from outer sleeve. Original inner sleeve will remain in the original outer sleeve. Everything will be inserted into a clear polybag (This step is to prevent seam splits to the original sleeves as the record may shift during shipping). Everything will then be snugly sandwiched between two corrugated cardboard inserts and packed into an LP mailer. Finally the mailer will be packed in a padded box for extra protection in shipping given the rarity and value of the album, just to take no chances.
