Description
R.E.M.'s classic 'Reckoning' on purple translucent vinyl that you can see through when held up to bright light. This first US pressing sounds terrific and visually grades at VG+ with some wispy hairlines that prevent me from grading EX. Crisp, clear, full sound. People rave about this particular purple pressing as being their favorite. Has RCA in matrix on deadwax.
This copy came from a renowned HiFi dealer's personal collection and was stored in climate controlled, non-smoking conditions.

Under bright light, appears unplayed or only played with great care and looks new. Only the very finest examples make this grade.
EXC
Under bright light, may have one or two slight, but visible imperfections (i.e. sleeve scuffs, faint ‘hairline’ scratches, or other superficial marks) that will not affect play. Overall, very clean. May play as good as a Near Mint record, but visibly has minor imperfections.
VG+
Several visible imperfections. These may include sleeve scuffs, light scratches, or other superficial marks. Has seen more wear and play than the higher grades, but still overall a very nice record.
