Description

You are bidding on an original MONO copy of the self-titled release by the Remains, aka Barry and the Remains.

You're all familiar with these Boston garage legends, who opened for the Beatles on their last American tour. This classic LP was released on Epic (LN 24214) in early 1966. The band split up shortly after the album was released, so very few copies were pressed and it is extremely rare.

The cover is VG condition with only minor wear. The full-disclosure details: There is a small promo drill and two staple holes in the upper left corner. The top edge is worn away two inches from the spine and an inch from the opening; there are small abrasions along the top, but the cardboard is otherwise intact. The bottom edge is also intact with a very slight bit of wear. The spine has a few small tears on the band's name and in the lower left corner. The front cover has a few very slight scratches across the band's logo, mostly on the 'R' and 'E,' and some slight signs of wear. And the back cover has extremely faint ring wear, and a small discoloration in the lower left corner. This is a thorough list of the cover's imperfections, but it's in great shape, especially considering its 39-year vintage!!! (And my 100% positive feedbackers often note that my items are better than described, since I don't wany any unpleasant surprises for my eBuyers.)

The labels and vinyl are EX on both sides, with only a few light scratches -- which are wholly inaudible and do not affect play. This a perfect player copy, nearly pristine (it was only played once or twice). You'll be knocked out by the quality of the disc.

This ultra-rare collectible has a resonable reserve. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
