Description

This is a fine copy of a 1985 French compilation of all the main recordings by stellar mid-'60s Boston group the Remains. The comp includes the tracks from group's rare 1966 LP on Epic (they appear in their original order as the first five tracks on both sides of disc 1), all their non-LP single tracks, and the live-in-studio audition tracks variously released as Live in Boston and Session. Also included is a cover of Gram Parson's "Luxury Liner" from 1976. This copy comes in a standard jacket, not a gatefold. The jacket has some creasing and light wear around the edges, but is otherwise close to pristine (EX-).  The discs are clean with a little light scuffing, and they play with minimal surface noise -- a strong M-. The record comes with standard white inner sleeves, not custom inner sleeves. For those into the minutiae: As the photos show, the discs have white instead of orange labels. Discogs has a listing for a white label test pressing of the record, but says it came in a gatefold jacket. Since the only photo in that entry is of the front cover, it's possible that the entry is in error on the latter point, and that this copy is from the test pressing.

I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades.  All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets.  The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves.  I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.

If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
